Dear all,

We are pleased to announce a Summer Course on Gene Mapping, to be held at
Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark, from July 27-31, 2026. This course is
designed for researchers, MSc and PhD students, and professionals
interested in statistical and computational approaches for gene mapping.

Application deadline: March 17 2026 at 12:00 noon (CET)
https://studerende.au.dk/...to-apply-1

Course description:
https://kursuskatalog.au.dk/.../139783/Gene-Mapping

Course Content
• General concepts and statistical models for gene mapping
• Imputation of genotypes and haplotype phase reconstruction
• Population-based association mapping: models and methods
• Controlling false discovery in association studies (multiple testing,
  population structure)
• Gene mapping methods: single-marker regression, mixed linear models,
and approaches incorporating pedigree and population structure
• Meta-analysis in GWAS and Mendelian Randomization
• Post-GWAS analysis: single variant annotation, functional enrichment,
  and eQTL integration

The course will include lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and
discussions. Participants will gain insights into advanced statistical
methods and practical applications in gene mapping.

If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Best regards
