At the Animal Breeding and Genomics group of Wageningen University and
Research we have a position opening at the assistant prof. level:
In short, in this new position you will study target species that are
affected by human activities such as being threatened to become extinct,
important species in local or worldwide food systems, or invasive species
threatening native species within ecosystems. As a scientist you will
contribute to explore how this has affected the genomic architecture of such
species with particular emphasis on aquatic species. Detailed insight into
the genomic architecture is a prerequisite for the ecological and genetic
management of these species.
There will be particular emphasis on aquatic species.
