BASIC PROBLEM 1
Gregory Mendel liked to use peas to study genes. One trait he studied was its color. Green coat color is dominant, and the yellow color is seen only when the pea is homozygous recessive.Your first problem is to predict the cross of a HOMOZYGOUS GREEN pea to a HOMOZYGOUS YELLOW pea. Using (G) to show dominance, and (g) as a recessive allele, give the GENOTYPIC and PHENOTYPIC ratios. (Hint: you may want to use the punnett-square)
