At the School of Biosciences in Cardiff University
(https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/) we are looking for individuals interested in
applying for Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship
(https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/...ellowships)
to come to work in our school

The two candidates will be expected to work on the following topics:

Population genomics of livestock and wildlife species, or environmental
molecular ecology with Dr. Pablo Orozco-terWengel
Evolutionary and conservation genomics of top predators with Dr. Frank Hailer

If you are interested in these opportunities, please get in touch with us by
the 6th of May, 2024, as the initial stage is a declaration of interest with
Cardiff University internal deadline of the 8th of May, 2024. The full
application deadline is the 11th of September, 2024, but only applications
that have registered an expression of interest will be submitted.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree at the call deadline of 11th of
September, 2024. Applicants must a maximum of 8 years full time equivalent of
research experience. Applicants must not have resided or wored in the UK for
more than 12 months during the three years up to the 11th of September, 2024;
however, if applicants are interested in ta Global Fellowship, they must not
have resided or worked in the third party country for more than 12 months
during the three years up to the deadline of the 11th of September, 2024. The
applying fellows must have an excellent track record (relevant to their
career stage) of peer reviewed internationally recognised publication(s).

Cardiff University’s school of bioscience was ranked 4th in the UK and 25th
Worldwide in 2023 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). The school of
Biosciences offers a dynamic and stimulating research environment with modern
facilities and high-calibre research-active staff that have an international
reputation for teaching and research.
